Creativity, Fulfillment & Being Human — My Conversation on the “Happy & Human” Podcast

I recently had the joy of being a guest on the “Happy & Human” podcast, hosted by the thoughtful and inspiring duo, Seema Desai and Dinesh Melwani. This podcast is all about helping South Asian professionals and entrepreneurs live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives — something that deeply resonates with my own journey as an artist.

Seema and Dinesh explore what they call the five pillars of a good life: health, wealth, love, happiness, and impact. In each episode, they unpack strategies, philosophies, and tools that empower listeners to live in alignment with what matters most.

On our episode, we dove into a topic that’s very close to my heart: creativity.

I had the opportunity to share how becoming a full-time artist has brought a sense of deep fulfillment and presence into my life. We talked about how creativity isn’t just for “creatives” — it’s for everyone. Whether it’s through art, writing, cooking, designing, or simply making space to reflect, creative expression adds so much value to our lives.

I truly believe that creativity is essential to our well-being. It helps us process, connect, and feel alive. And when we can find a hobby, practice, or career that we’re genuinely passionate about — it transforms how we experience the world.

Whether you see yourself as an artist or not, there’s so much to gain by finding small, intentional ways to be creative in your everyday life.

Thank you again to Happy & Human for having me — it was an honour to share space and talk about the art of living a more meaningful life.
